We also have a 22 month old and had NEVER experienced this type of inconsolable crying from her. It really scared us so we took him to the Dr. In fact, we took him several times and were finally told that he has an extreme case of colic. The Dr. basically told us that it was something that he would have to outgrow. He also said to just let him cry it out because he was probably not in pain. I knew better because of the way he would just scream and pull his legs to his chest. The screaming was all day and night. He barely paused to sleep. We changed his formula many times and paid for the "best", but all that did was make him vomit. He was also given Zantac. That seemed to help but only a little. I decided to see what I could find out for myself about a natural way to relieve his pain. I found several things on the internet and tried a lot of them that were supposed to help( bands to wrap around the belly Etc.). Nothing! helped at all. I came across the site for colic relief formula and decided to try it, although I doubted it would work either. I was so surprised that It did!!! It was almost immediate. Finally, after 6 weeks of nonstop crying our baby was getting some relief. He does not cry at all during the day anymore. Sometimes at night he does but the spells do not last nearly as long. He is 8 weeks now. I thought that maybe he had "outgrown" his colic so I tried not giving the colic relief to him. BIG MISTAKE!!! He was screaming again in no time. I went to Dr T and he suggested an adjustment on our newborn. We where very uneasy on the idea of adjusting our newborn, but we have tried everything else. So with one quick adjustment, our son slept for two hours and when he woke up he was a new baby. He was no longer in pain and the Colic was gone. | ![]() | |
